DIVE WEST SUMBAWA AND MOYO ISLAND
Rugged coastlines, coral reefs, and healthy marine life in a region still off the radar for most divers. Sumbawa is still a yet-to-be-discovered destination which means healthy corals, both soft and hard, seasonal large pelagics, and everything in between.
We are located in Kertasari, 30 minute drive from Poto Tano harbour. Our daily dives take place in the Kertasari and Poto Tano waters, with special excursions down south the West coast, or to the divers' paradise - Moyo and Satonda islands.
Suitable for: All levels, great beginner sites in the safety of islands with colourful reef life, leading up to advanced level sites with passing large animals and strong currents in the Lombok straight.

The waters around Kertasari and Poto Tano offer a good mix of diving conditions and marine life. Visibility is often clear, with some sites offering gentle drifts while others are calmer and easier to explore. Divers can expect a variety of soft and hard corals, anemones, and reef structures that attract reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, octopus and hoardes of schooling fish. Smaller life is also common in certain sites, with nudibranchs and other macro species appearing regularly.
There is also a shallow reef area off the beach of the dive shop that can be reached as a shore dive or with a short boat ride when the tide is high, making it a super duper simple entry level dive. The reef also hosts a coral nursery project, which is worth visiting for those interested in reef restoration efforts.
For all boat dives we do two dives per boat trip and you get a half a day trip out of it. New dive sites are being explored right at this very moment, and one of the unique points of diving in Sumbawa is diving new, unexplored sites - if that's your jam.
